Running on Fumes

Can you believe it’s DECEMBER already? It’s already been such an exciting month for me.

  1. The Underachieving Ovary hit #1 in its category and got it’s nifty little orange Amazon #1 best seller badge
  2. Grey Magic is still in the top 20 in Dark Comedy
  3. My permafree title, The Memory of Water, is still a bestseller with over 26,000 downloads
  4. I signed with a distributor so my paperbacks are now being stocked by the country’s largest chainstore, Exclusive Books, as well as Skoobs, Love Books, and others
  5. I commissioned Stuart Bache to redesign the cover of Why You Were Taken (and the rest of the trilogy) — Stuart has worked with Stephen King and John le Carré
  6. I sold 2 plays
  7. Baby Alexandra has learned how to sit!

This year has been crazy and wonderful and I’ve had way too little sleep … and I can’t wait to see what next year brings. I have high aims which I’ll share with you in January, but for now I’m running on fumes. I’m sticking my head down and working to meet my last deadline of the year. After that, it’s time for Baby Alex’s first beach holiday (and for me: a number of large gin & tonics by the pool).

I wish you all a fabulous festive season. I hope that you are surrounded by the people you love, and that you get in some bonus reading time.

Thank you again for your support this year, and I wish you all the best for 2017!
